For many children living with alopecia, Alopeciapalooza is more than a camp, it’s the first time they see someone who looks like them.
At our International Annual Camp, kids from across the country come together to build friendships, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of simply being understood. What starts as a weekend of camp often becomes a lifelong sense of belonging.
What to Expect at Camp
Alopeciapalooza is designed to be a safe, welcoming, and joy-filled experience for every camper. All meals, lodging, and activities are included in the registration price. Alopeciapalooza 2026 will be run as a family camp. All families will stay together in one cabin with other families. During registration, you will be allowed to list your preference regarding sharing a cabin with other families. Alopeciapalooza is open to children and teens living with alopecia and their families.
Campers can look forward to:
- Classic camp activities like swimming, games, campfires, and team challenges
- Confidence-building workshops and group discussions
- Opportunities to connect with peers who share similar experiences
- Support from trained staff, volunteers, and mentors
- A space where they can show up exactly as they are, no explanations needed
